Designer Hugh Hayden has created dog beds out of tennis balls. The beds would drive my dogs insane, but it is a very cute idea. My furry babies would just attempt to pull it apart all day long. Hugh uses used tennis balls for his designs, so not only are his pieces unique, he is using green design principles.
He also has a line of people furniture as well, check it out below! I absolutely love the ball pit furniture, how cute would it be in a playroom?
Animal Hospitals are starting to offer stem cell treatments for pets with joint and ligament problems such are arthritis. I am thrilled for the pets and owners that have had successful outcomes.
We all love our pets, but I know from personal experience the cost of saving an ill pet can become outrageous and the outcomes of veterinary medicine are sometimes unpredictable. About two and a half years ago my furry baby Peanut was bleeding internally, we spent about $1700 trying to save him (he had to have blood transfusions) and we still had to put him to sleep (which was horrible and traumatic). Vet Stem doesn’t have the cost of the treatments offered listed on their website but I found articles estimating the cost of the treatments between $2000 – $4000 depending on your pet.
Watch the video below!

I normally keep a steady stream of chew sticks roaming around the house and the dogs love their stuffed animal toys but we rarely have anything really interactive for them to play with – Except Us!
I came across a line of “Interactive Board Games” for dogs. They look like so much fun!
My sister is a zoo keeper and she always talking about enrichments for the animals she works with, I sometimes worry that my dogs are not getting enough enrichment.
So I am ordering the Dog Brick game!

I stumbled upon a very cute new pet product and wanted to share it with you all.
The Chatham collection is a simple but vibrant line of pet products for pets and owners alike.
All the pieces in this line are constructed with interlocking pieces that allow them to break down for easy storage (which would be great to take on vacation with you), and they of course have non-toxic finishes.
The dish holders retail from $90 – $104, and come in three sizes Small, Medium, and Large.
I love the bowl holders, if I thought Zoey would eat slow enough to actually eat her food out of a bowl I would order her and the boys the small bowl holders. She eats like we have been starving her for days, we literally have to sprinkle her food on a towel on the floor so she has to find the food to eat it – its ridiculous.
The sleigh beds come in the above 4 color combinations and are approximately 26 X 22 X 10. They retail for $130.
The toy boxes retail for $96 and are approximately 20 X 16 X 15.5.
We have a toy box at home and we love it. I put all the toys in the box and Bo and Spike sneak over and pull them all out, and then I pick them all up again and then they pull them all out again. I think they are trying to tell me something! I don’t care, I figure it’s kind of like doggie hide and seek.

Rock & Republic have come out with their first line of Dog Accessories!
The think I look most about this line is it isn’t cutesy (and I Love Cutesy but this is even better). Their pet line is really raw, it is a great compliment to their clothing.
R&R's "Unconditional Carrier" is so functional. I love carriers that look like handbags. It retails for $330.
Their "Uncomditional Bed" is made of synthetic leather with gunmetal studs, and retails for $180.
This is R&R's "Precious Cargo Collar" in black, it retails for $60.
You can buy sets of them or singles. They are little crochet flowers that slide on and off your dogs collar. They are handmade of 100% cotton and are machine washable.
I just ordered a set of 3 for Zoey!
I mean – come on – how cute is this?!!!

It is freezing in Florida right now. Every day this week the high will be in the 50′s. I know that might sound balmy for those up north, but down here my dogs and I are freezing. Our newest furry baby Zoey is not having this cold weather. She does not want to walk in the cold/wet grass, so I started thinking about buying some doggie booties for her and came across some great options (see below), but I also came across a very cute video that made me think I should buy them just for the entertainment factor.
My sweet new Cocker Spaniel Zoey!
These are Air Doggy Dog Boots and they come is many colors (including pink – Zoey is my first girl)
These are Epiks Pink Dog Shoes, are they are so super cute!
If anyone else is having the same cold weather dilemma, the booties above as well as many other options are found at Poochie Heaven.
A very creative couple in Dallas has created a huge dog complex, it is called Unleashed Indoor Dog Park. They have essentially created a big indoor dog park, but they also have a dog groomer, a day care and boarding service, and a cafe. It is ingenious!
If your in the Dallas area you should check it out!
